I am a fan of gawker.com blog which is famously browse all around the world. I have encountered a lot of website and blog which is very cool and informative. Darkroastedblend.com for an instance, an example of great blog source for you to release tension and seek something new.
Even though it was a just a compilation of someone's else blog or website story, but the owner did a good job. It's not easy to compile everyhting into one great blog. As far as i know, to gain success, we need a lot of effort. Making money like Shoemoney.com, Johnchow.com and lots more out there, we actually starting from a single post. They put some effort over it, and then here they go..up up and away!!
